Waverly In Louisville Ky

Post by mandy0221 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 9:20 pm

I like in Louisville KY and we have one of the scariest places here. It is called Waverly Hills. It has been featured on several haunted places shows and ranks the top of every list. It is an old sanitarium where hundreds of people died from tiberculosis. There is even an old body chute that they used to carry the dead bodies down since there were so many each day. During Halloween they have a haunted house but the rest of the year they give a day time tour.

It is a must to visit if you like that kind of stuff and live close.

Also - my house is haunted and nothing beats that.

We dont live too far from there, we've heard about it but have not yet gone. Maybe we will at the end of next month.

One of my favorite places to hear about has always been The Tower of London, doubt we'll ever see it, but it has fascinated me.

I just watched a show on that. It was the creepiest thing I had ever seen! I'm glad it's far away from me! In my area, we have:

Alcatraz Island - the old jail in which you can take night tours

Winchester Mystery House - A building where a lady built and built to keep the ghosts away

The Haunted Toys R Us in Sunnyvale CA!

I vote the night tour....creepy and informative. TONS of people say they see things when they go.

You should do more research before posting on a topic.

Here are the facts about Waverly Hills

53,000 people died there . That would be Thousands not Hundreds.
It is listed at the WORLDS top hot spot for paranormal activity and it is listed by the ghost hunters society as the scariest place on earth.

First to do only the halloween tour at Waveryl hills you have to be at least 16 years old.
To do the night tour it is 50 dollars not 20 and you have to be 18 or over.
To do the OVer night Tour where tyou sleep in the building it is 100 dollars.
