I was quite impressed with the makeup work on these next two. If you saw the movies, you'd know they were dead on.

Heh! Heh! This guy in the Deadpool costume is hilarious. The video is spawning a new internet meme, animated gifs are appearing all over. There're also a lot of great costumes in the video. I especially like Drac, Frank and Mum at 2:11.

Could have. There were zombies everywhere last weekend. My roomie even bought the Zombie Survival Guide at the Zombie Apocalypse store. Now I have to wait for her to finish reading it before I can.
Hey ilovemichaelmeyers... that store was just temporary for the weekend, it's based in Las Vegas. Ever been there? They have some really cool stuff.

Some of the best experiences I've ever had, though it was a lot more fun when I was younger. I miss being able to walk up to the door and buy passes, but even if you can't get in there's plenty to see and do. There's talk of moving it out of San Diego because it's just getting too darn big.

Man! I hope I see this giant robot costume downtown. It's got to be hot as heck in there.

lol@ killerpumpkins.... I have killer pumpkin paintings all up my stairwell. One of my friends also bought me the membership. =)
Also-- one of the groups that does the costume contest for Comic Con-- and has won best in show in 2007-- has a website with tutorials on how they made their costumes and parts to costumes.
http://www.whatishcc.com/tutorials/
The site needs updating-- it's missing their Bioshock costumes, which were LOVE. Here's a blog post for how to construct a Big Daddy:

I was a bit disappointed this year. Didn't see much outside the Con. Even the pictures I've seen from inside weren't really that inspiring.
Some cool pics here. I like how the guy posed with people kicking him.
Zillions of pictures from this year here.
Funny story.... Bryan Cranston was walking around the Comic-con wearing a Heisenberg mask. Imagine how many people are kicking themselves now that they know it was really him? Below is a picture of him taking the mask off at the Breaking Bad panel.
