2010 Hurricane Season very busy

Postby hurricane » Thu May 27, 2010 10:21 am

The NOAA released their 2010 hurricane season forecast for 2010 and NOAA is predicting a very severe hurricane season for 2010.

NOAA predicts 23 named storms with 3 to 7 becoming major hurricanes with as many as 14 being hurricanes.

Colorado State University also predicted a severe season in April 2010 with 15 named storms and 8 hurricanes.

Of course predictions for the last few years have been to have busy hurricane seasons and we know how good the predictions were then.

I am just an amateur at this but have watched for some number of years. I think the season will be 'quiet'
but the storms that are named and develop to hurricane status will have 3-4 serious blows that ultimately
make landfall.

I'm saying quiet, due to the quiet activity in June, and July.

I think Bonnie and Five might have died from the oil spill.
