Laurie Strode, girlfriend, I KNEW there was something that I liked about you!!!!

The year that Pulp Fiction lost the Oscar for best picture to Forrest Gump, I actually threw something at the television when it was announced!!! Gump was a great flick, don't get me wrong, but Pulp Fiction was the best film made that year, and one of my top favorites.

Sorry, MammaHooch, and you KNOW how I hate differing with you but that's the year 'Shawshank Redemption' should have won!!!
And I know what you mean about throwing stuff at the TV. I'm STILL angry 'Jaws' lost to 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'.

My fave films... according (more or less) to genre.

All Time FAVE: The Shawshank Redemption

Horror: Bram Stoker's Dracula
Drama: Gladiator; Braveheart
Family: A Little Princess (1995)
Fantasy: Ever After: A Cinderella Story; The Brother's Grimm... actually, Stardust would overrule both these.
Romantic Comedy: 13 Going on 30
Animated: The Last Unicorn
Action: Live Free or Die Hard
Adventure: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Musical: Bride and Prejudice
Comedy:About a Boy
Classic: Suddenly
TV Show to DVD: Supernatural

Of course, there are so many good films... but my list could get really long, really fast if I listed them all.
