Halloween goodies officially in stores....

Post by Big_Guh » Fri Jul 06, 2007 12:21 am

I went into Michael's today and couldn't believe my eyes. Three aisles of Halloween goodies! The houses were out, all sorts of hanging monsters, Jack o Laterns, bats, you name it. Never seen the whole enchilada out so early, but it was a great surprise. The time must be growing near.....

YAY I did go and they had a few things out. I got a large sign that says SPOOKY that you can hang on the wall. Then I got a black cat door knob hanger that has ribbons all over it. They were still stocking the shelves with the spooky town village and were not very sincere. I kept scooting a little closer to check out the pieces but the lady kept standing in front of me and acting like I was in her way.

Little did she know she may have just cost that location a couple hundred dollars by not letting me fiddle my way through the goodies!

I hear you HQ - Anyone I date has to be able to put up with my enjoyment of Halloween. I have never been to a spirit store before but I am certain we have them here. I just always have a hard time spotting the new halloween stores that pop up

So I'm held up at home unable to go out. Darn it! Can't wait to go to Michael's!! I was planning to go this week. ANyone have any pictures of what they've bought from there :)

Hey Cadaverino, Thanks for doing the conversion for me

Tantraman, Yes anything from High 30's Celsius to high 40's is considered scorching hot here!! I can't go out in it for more then 1 hour, and thats doing stuff like driving around doing arrends, not walking. I can't be out in the direct sun or heat or I pass right out. Like today, just going to the store, I almost didn't make it home driving. I had to stop twice and use a washroom to use papertowel and wet my face, arms, head etc etc, or I literally pass right out, I've done it many times and wake up in our ER. I get heat stroke very easily, and I'm allergic to the sun.
No wonder I'm a fall & Winter nut. :D I'm not a sun bunny AT ALL...
The rest of the week looks like I will be staying indoors, at least until well after the sun goes down.
