Special Delivery!

Post by MauEvig » Thu Dec 11, 2014 7:06 pm

I got a new camera today, thanks to a friend on here! Thank you so much, I'm going to be taking all kinds of cool pictures now with amazing quality and clarity! I'm still going to keep the cheap camera for a back up for right now, but this one is going to get a lot of use out of it!

As for the box it came in...the kitten has claimed it for himself:

This weekend if weather permits, I'll be taking my new camera to the zoo. :D

Thanks you guys! Yeah there is definitely something about cats and boxes. I read once that cats leap into boxes because it gives them a good hiding place and sense of security. They can feel the vibrations if someone bumps the box and know someone is there. I suppose in their eyes, it's like having their own protective fort. The older male tends to chew up boxes though and turn cardboard and paper into confetti. XD

The really funny thing is when you see a larger cat like a serval or a lynx go into a box, or a tiger, now that is really funny! There is one particular tiger I'm fond of at the zoo who is a white tiger, and who acts like an overgrown cub. It's hilarious! Personally the fur color of a tiger or any cat makes no difference to me. I love all cats. :D

Edit: Check out our view:
