Hooch I saw that witch when I was in there the other day! Too cute.

I have o ne of those halloween tickers on my myspace page and I have to admitt although it seems still so far away, it really isnt. I mean I officially start decorating in September and that is only 2 months away.

This year, in particular, seems to have gone really fast. I was dreaming dreamily of my good experience last Halloween, and thinking the next Halloween was a million years away!

I imagine The Count from Sesame Street: "One hundred six! One hundred six days until Halloween!" (Thunder and lightning)

You know how I celebrate it? Not just a day, not just a month, but a season: autumn. And that for me starts at Labor Day. I get two solid months of that great feeling.

Now to put us all in that mood, here's a photo set by Ed Karjala that he calls Autumn Impressions. Some are achingly beautiful.

OMG I went to Michael’s last night, and I have the Halloween bug baaad!!! I promised my husband that we wouldn’t buy anything Halloween this year since we are trying to pay off bills, but I had to get a little something for our village, so I picked up the small mummy display and some snakes for the lemax spooky town. I couldn’t resist!! We start decorating on September 1st, I would start earlier if I didn’t think people would look at me funny!! I usually wait till the end of Sept to do the outside stuff though, don’t want all the looks from the neighbors!! LOL I once saw a man that had his house decorated for Halloween year round, and when I get enough stuff, I am totally doing that!! Yipee to Halloween and a big hello to all y’all that share my Halloween joy!!!
