Looking for Idea's !

Post by Dutchess of Darkness » Mon Jun 18, 2007 5:42 am

Hey everyone, Ok I'm needing some inspiration and ideas for doing a cemetry/bat cave, and a witches Lair. I'm not into a lot of gore , more kinda just classy spooky & realistic I guess you'd say.

Look forward to any ideas you can offer me, Thanks everyone!

There's so many ways....This is how I make my cave. I go buy some of those cheap Arbours from BigLots or Walmart...after they went on clearance. Then I cover them with that thick black plastic sheeting. On the inside I put up creepy clothe to hang down from the ceiling in part of the cave and I hang a few bats too. I also put a few skulls here and there.

I'm not sure if I have a pic of it but I'll look and see.

Cemetery- you can make a cemetery fence with pvc pipe and some 1x2's. Set up some tombstones and throw a few bones around. You can also use an arbour to make the cemetery enterance.

I do have a pic of that..I'll post it later..

I'm working on my witch's lair.. LOL

Oh NaturePixie, I meant to ask you, for the Cemetry letters, what did you make them out of? And did you just use double sided sticky tape to hold them up?

The letters are made of cardboard. I have them wired on the arbour with that thin floral wire.

OMG NaturePixie guess What! That link to that website you posted, Well I don't know if the actual site & owner of that site is from Reapers Haunted Attraction, but you know how if you go to either the threads called Recently & Categories and they both list Frightfest BC 2007, and also Reapers Haunted Attraction, well good lord, that's here in Chilliwack, that's where I live, and they're haunted attraction is sooo awesome! I've been there, it's like a 10 minute drive from my house, thats too freakin wierd to see that on that site! WOW! I wonder if it's one of their sites, or if someone just added them into the site? I'm going to have to email and find out cause I want to do those Witches jars for sure.

Dutchess of Darkness bows down to NaturePixie in great Batty gratitude :D

Here's a cool site I found to make a gate, if you need one of those!! This is the simplest one I have found, no drilling holes!!

Good Luck!
