Sam:

I LOVE the lights!! I'm going to have to stop by our WalMart tomorrow and check things out. Last time I was there (4-5 days ago) they hadn't started anything yet!!

Oh, by the way Laurie Strode...you officially have the creepiest looking avatar I've ever seen.

This stuff isn't "new" exactly but they are all in a new place. I finally cleared out the work room in our basement so I can start building puppets again. We had a Puppet Production company back in Indiana and want to start it up again. Now I have my space to work, you'll see two examples of heads I've made recently on the shelf (they're both purple). Of course our first show will be a Halloween show.

Anyway, I have all my monsters at my work desk to give me inspiration.

Oh, well Dr. Strange, I'm very honored by that! Actually, in real life I don't look that creepy and rarely am I ever wielding an enormous butcher knife. :D

And YOU have a very impressive monster collection, there!!! :P

Hey, thanks for the tip on Dollar Tree!! I got to the one near here after work today & picked up 4 gargoyles, 3 headstones, and 4 adorable potion bottles. Awesome find, and I really wouldn't have been heading there in the near future & would've missed them.
Act well your part; there all the honour lies.

I've been everywhere and it CERTAINLY feels like Halloween is in full bloom. However, there are still a few stragglers.... Target and for those of us in the great Northwest, Fred Meyer's.
But other than that, EVERYONE is in full bloom!

We do not have any of those stores around...just Walmart and Zellers. I want to go shopping so bad.
I did see some Fall leaves and scarecrows at Walmart...but no Halloween.

An awesome bundle of goodies, revelesnet!

I'm going back to Portsmouth this weekend (1st September! Woo!) to go Halloween shopping in the big Asda-Walmart and TK Maxx they have there. I'm armed with a new paycheque and I'm overexcited! Fingers crossed they have the Halloween gear in :D

(And you know that if they do, I'm going to be making a huge pic post detailing my finds!) ;)
