Halloween Fimo Friends!

Post by magickbean » Sun Sep 02, 2007 7:34 pm

Hey guys!

I was totally inspired by all the Halloween Model Village pictures here and, as I can't get Lemax goodies in the UK, I thought I might have a go at making some little models of my own :)

So I popped up to my local craft shop, bought a bundle of Fimo and a little modelling wire and set to work. I made these on Saturday afternoon (whilst watching Halloween movies, naturally..) ;)

The Magick Frog: (which my mum has nabbed  lol)

I am quite happy with them, especially as it was my first try at Fimo! I will hopefully make a whole village's worth eventually.

Thank you, Winnie! :D

I liked how he turned out - even if his arms are freakishly long ;)

magickbean! Those totally rock!!! And that's EXACTLY how I started! #1 - There's no Halloween stuff around and #2 - Can I DO this?

Again, those are really great pieces! Keep up the good work!
I saw that you never posted anything in "My Sculpey Adventure". Maybe you missed it.....

Check out how I started with NO idea of what I was doing. You can see my progress and believe me, it's ALWAYS a learning prosess.

Good luck! And I know that we're ALL looking forward to seeing more pieces!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your encouragement everyone - I have to confess that sometimes, the thing that spurs me on to create things is to share them with you guys :D
