looking for small LED lights for your display?

Post by Spookymufu » Mon Oct 19, 2009 6:44 pm

Hi ya'll. I was looking for some pin spots for my display and couldnt find any cheap ones. I'm not smart enough to make my own and I didnt want to buy a whole 12v system.........so, as I was wondering through Home Depot I came across a display of Iron Bridge LED flash lights. They have 9 super bright LEDs and run off of 3 AAA batteries and they are very small so hiding and mounting them is a snap!
The best part is you get two in a pack for $5 and batteries are included!

I bought 3 packs, they were located on a display near the registers. If you take 3/4 PVC, cut it about and inch or two long then split it down the side you can fit the flashlight in it like a clamp, screw the PVC onto a stake or anywhere you can mount it and you can pivot them as needed. Also, if you want colored lights you can use a gel and place it over the clear lens.

heres what they look like, they are really small so easy to conceal and bright!

here it is mounted on the stake

man this could come in handy

i've been using actual candles in my grave yard (placed in 50 cent small glass bowls)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
