Great travel deal

If I had more time to think about it I might be willing to change my Halloween plans in light of this deal. If they were still having Halloween in the Castro I would be sorely tempted to head up to San Fran for the day. Heck, for that price it would be fun to buy a ticket, get one of my friends drunk and stick them on a plane cross country. Hmmm.... who could I do that to?

Chains and padlocks and a huge bowl of gruel. That's all you need.

you know what sucks.. i don't even have kids or ANYTHING really to hold me back and i STILL can't go anywhere bc of funds lol ohhhh bother
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Seems there is always somethingw hether you are single or married...kids, money, health, weather...

Sometimes you just need to go and figure the stuff out as you go along I think...

Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I would love to go on a trip somewhere!
It's been awhile for me. I'm getting travel fever.

I'm travelling to the States for the first time in January, probably Northern Virginia. Not quite sure why, I couldn't decide on North or South so opted for somewhere in the middle. I'm not really interested in seeing New York or Washington instead I'm planning on checking out small town USA, plus I like the idea of checking out the old Colonial sites (Williamsburg etc).

Nothing to do with Halloween I know, but there you go. :D
The steeples are white in the wild moonlight,
And the trees have a silver glare;
Past the chimneys high see the vampires fly,
And the harpies of upper air,
That flutter and laugh and stare.

Oh most definitely!
Small towns are the best way to see the real America.
I read a book once called "Blue Highways" by William Least Heat Moon about that very thing. Taking the rural roads and really experiencing it off the normal tourist routes.

Have a great time!

Pining away for Scotland.... Strone, overlooking Urquhart Bay on Loch Ness... Bowmore, on the Isle of Islay, overlooking Loch Indal... Brodick Bay on Arran... Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh, supposedly one of the most haunted places on earth...

Two years has been too long... :cry:

We're planning this cruise in April, which I'm not too happy about (me and the sun don't get along). Ireland is the next place on my list I'd like to visit.
