In Praise of George Washington Carver

Post by MacPhantom » Tue Oct 20, 2009 3:47 pm

This topic is dedicated to George Washington Carver, without whom we would have no Butterfingers; we would have no Snickers; there would be no Reese's Peanut-Butter Cups, or Reese's Pieces; no Paydays or Baby Ruths or Peanut M&Ms. Just imagine how empty Halloween would be had this great man never lived.

So thank you to George Washington Carver, who, by the way, had one heck of a Halloweeny last name!!!

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

High praise indeed!
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

... it's too bad Mr. Peanut also did research in Soy-- now it substitutes in EVERYTHING. The Horror, the horror!

Still, God Bless that man for his agricultural awesomeness.

What?! WHAT?!?!

Oh, that does it, Belladonna! Go stand in the corner! You're banished!

Yeah, you stand there in the corner and think about your weirdness! Us peanut-eating normies will prep the freakin' sharks with freakin' lasers on 'em. Cause you're definitely gettin chucked off the ship now. :x

Doesn't like peanuts..... Doesn't like PEANUTS! Doesn't like PEANUT-BUTTER?!! G-dubya C would be rolling over in his grave (if his back weren't stuck to the bottom of his coffin with peanut-butter)....

Well I'd definitely try one in your mystery machine! Hahaha
Where will we go? To see the Cat in the Hat or to see that hooka-smokin' caterpillar?

Hey if it's a mystery machine, all we do is snap our fingers and have whatever we need!
