Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

15 miles!!?? Ouch no wonder you were sore!
I run too, but I haven't done that far in a while. I usually do anywhere from 5 to 8...sometimes 10. Not too often though.

Yikes! Why would you do so many miles in a single day?

I do four a day (to keep the haggis-handles in check), and if I had to (and had an extra cuppa in the morning) I could probably go around again at the end (though it'd be a stagger to the finish line), but FIFTEEN?!? I'll be Jabba the Hut before I'd do that!

On topic, Maryland only had two, but one was VERY, VERY stupid.

the 15 mile run believe it or not isn't about keeping our legs and cardio in shape (it does) believe it or not... its actually done in an extreme ammounts of heat and its to condition ourselves to with stand the heat while working for a long period of time.. working in the heat o a point to where your body just doesn't want to work anymore disilplins it to accepting the heat and actually learning to use it..... this is our coaches method lol
in the summer we do this out side from point A to point B in Sana (spelling) suites
in the winter we do this inside the gym (the heats always on) in Sana suites
