Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Re: just goofing
Very nice.
Does your camera have a timed exposure? I made some 'ghost' photos a few years back by turning down the lights, setting the timer for 1.5 seconds then stepping into the picture, standing still for half a second then running out of frame.
The camera 'fills' in the space behind where you were standing and it makes you seem transparent.
Vodka makes me do strange things

Good job with the pics Spooky! Ooooh when he'd show you to your quarters, he could be leading you to the dungeon to be someone's late-night snack!
Very neat pic too, Andybev I love the effect.

Re: just goofing
I did that back in '07 when I was in Edinburgh, Scotland. I wanted to fake a ghost pic in Greyfriars Kirkyard, so I did one at the tomb of Bloody Mackenzie, and then one of me in front of the Covenantors Prison with an evil demon coming out of me.

Good pics, Mac!
Love the demon effect and those places I'd love to see.

Vodka makes me do strange things
Last year I was working at the Hotel del Coronado and was telling one of the guys from out of town
about the resident ghost, Kate Morgan. He did the usual, 'yeah yeah yeah, ghosts don't exist' thing.
One day, the building engineer let us go up into the dome and I was taking pictures of the architecture
and the view outside. Well... I couldn't resist the urge to do a little shopping, a few days later I emailed
this dude the pictures and lo and behold! What did he see in the background of one of them? He wrote
me back saying that was the most amazing thing he's ever seen and that I should send that image to a
paranormal site. He said that picture made him a total believer.
I never did tell him the truth. Doesn't hurt to have your beliefs shaken up from time to time.
Oh yeah... the picture....
