Aha you did it! I like that - 'beautiful minutia'. :)
I'm sure we will fill up pages and pages with it!

Which Renaissance Fair? We had been regulars at the TN RenFest for about a decade, but skipped it last spring because our favorite performer, Johnny Phoenix, had been dropped from the roster. I think he still does other fairs, though, around the country. Have you ever seen him?

He did a special one-night show for his TN fans because he'd been dropped, and we went. He made a DVD of that night, also. He is always fun, but he was indoors that night, so he wasn't able to do his fire-walking routine.

Oh, thanks for the link! That looks like a great fair, though I didn't see Johnny affiliated with it. Have fun!

i've never been to one but have been DYING to go :) i need some tights
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Some of the Ren. fairs have costumes for rent. Scarborough Fair does anyway.

I need a Velvet Elvis, and a Mickey Mantle rookie card, and a porcelain chihuahua statue, and a sugar cookie scented candle.

And some lime green suspenders.
