Midnight Movie Bazaar

Post by Corvus Kulde » Sat Nov 14, 2009 2:46 pm

I want to start a thread for all those bazaar movies you see in the middle of the night and then try to forget. Alternatively movies that freaked you out and you can't help but tell people about.

I am starting with a psych-sexual killer thriller (starring Mr. Sean Connery) called......

ZARDOZ

You will not forget this one.

Great...I thought I had completely erased Zardos from my memory  You will rue the day, Corvus!

hahahahaha motel hell? lol i bet that sucked
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I haven't seen Zardoz yet, Corvus. And now I guess I don't have to bother. hehe
Oh poor you. You had to see the infamous Motel Hell. I was tricked into it!
A friend of mine came over for a movie night saying it was something I had to see! UGH!

Same here. The culprit was a family friend. He brought MOTEL HELL and THE TOXIC AVENGER. I can't believe my folks let me see those movies. My older brother must have been watching me and my younger brother that night.

Zardoz is like chemical warfare training. You need to experience it but you might throw up for a few hours afterward.

I'm not a big Thompson fan but I did read the book as a requirement in high school.
What a bizarre life his must have been.

He seemed to seek out the kind of situations that would bring the most terror for someone on psychedelic trip.
