Happy Thanksgiving 2009

Post by iHaunt » Wed Nov 25, 2009 11:47 pm

iHaunt wishes to say everyone :@: Halloween.com Forums, and to all of my family, fellow haunters out there that I hope you have a wonderful and very Happy Thanksgiving! :D

As we sit down to eat our turkey dinner, I ope we all take a moment to reflect on what we have to be thankful for this year. ;)

I'm thankful for my family, friends, a job, being able to live in this country, where I can still feel freely celebrate traditions with people that I love. :)

To all of you.... Happy Thanksgiving!

.
I found it a bit ironic that I had to drive across an Indian reservation to get to my friends'
house to celebrate Thanksgiving. The casino parking lot looked pretty packed so I guess
they're getting the last laugh?

Thats actually sad!!! I think the Indian's have been ripped off to many times, they deserve sooo much more!!! I am part Indian too, and I feel so much better off than they do, I feel bad for them. At one time I stayed with my Great grandma on a reservation, for a month. She had a very hard life. :(
NeverMore I realize you think they are get the last laugh but they aren't!!! Sorry!!!

Thing that bothers me is that I know if we (mankind) run into any indigenous peoples
when we start exploring space, if they have resources we want, we'll do the same thing
again. It's in our nature.

I'm afraid your right, it's in our nature, I wish it wasn't, but that doen't change it. And Space will be next, I am worried, but I will try to do what I can, even if it's just petitioning people!!!

I do believe that too. We have to step our big feet all over everything. Terrestrial or non.

I walked to Washington D.C. on the Long Walk For Survival with the Sioux a few years ago. I learned a lot and I wish I could do it again. It was an amazing experience.

I had a great time. Everyone was in good spirits and my appetite matched my plate size this year. My little boy had fun playing with his cousins and scarfing pie. Speaking of, me and Corvina made 2 pumpkin pies from scratch. They were tremendous if i do say so myself. She made up the filling, I made the crust, and my family annihilated them both. I must have had 7 pieces in the last few days. Last Monday we made a practice pie which mysteriously disappeared. :D Then the night before Thanksgiving we made our pies. At that point there were three but we had to eat one for quality assurance purposes.
Seeing that there was none left after the big dinner we decided to make one more tonight.

That's not even mentioning the chocolate silk pie, the Oreo cream cheese balls, and mom's unbelievable Banana pudding. Of course there was chocolate cake and let's not forget the Lemonade pie. Man, this was a good thanksgiving! :D
Oh, your so cool, Brewster!
Hey, Butchy. They still got Oreo's next door?
Dracula's in the house!!! In the house?!
Welcome to the party, Honey!
