The Crazies (2010)

Post by iHaunt » Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:57 pm

So far, so good - the early reviews have been VERY solid! Total Film gave it 4 stars:

Well, I'm usually a little leery of remakes, but I'm actually really looking forward to see this one - To original "The Crazies" is one of George A. Romero's lesser known films, and it's actually one of his best in my opinion - he tries to tell a very interesting story with a low budget, and it works pretty well; it's sort of like a precursor to movie, like "28 Days Later".

Well, this is about the residents of a small Iowa town go insane, then die, after their water supply is contaminated by a strange toxin. Ok, we want to see you just rushing to get in line first to see this movie!

this looks like one of these movies that seems it would be really dumb and a waste of money, but is probably pretty good....

I feel that I am tempting to see this movie, but not really so sure if I will go... :? I think I'd have to wait until it comes out to DVD. I need to save money.

BTW, for you witchy.... are you still planning to see "Shutter Island" with your daughter this weekend, or what?

Oh, my goodness..... one of the members from other forums announced that he saw this movie, and he enjoyed it. So, if you enjoy a movie which offers plenty of action, blood and kills then he urges you to check this movie out! :D Also, personally, he finds the original to be a bore! :? It would be hard for this to not be some sort of upgrade. WTH???

You can always rent to see George A. Romero's classic "The Crazies".
