Stephen King's Remakes

Post by iHaunt » Sat Feb 27, 2010 11:47 pm

IT remake is a fake title, and they're not going to work it out anymore. :( - Forget it!

Children Of The Corn remake was already on TV back on September 26th, 2009 and also, it was straight on DVD.... right now, it's available! It was directed by Donald P. Borchers and was written by Stephen King.

Creepshow remake - it was in pre-production, and it will not update until next year in 2011. :?

So, did anyone seen Children of the Corn lately? I think I prefer the original the best than the remake! :)

Steven King is classic! His stories were so unique at the time. I remember 25 years ago, I was so excited each time a new book came out. The movies were so true to his books, too.

Today so many scary movies rely on CG that they have gotten away from that fantastic, edge of your seat, fear.

Cujo scared the <deleted> out of me. It was so, " That could really happen" that went deep into my own mind!

I do think, after his accident, his writings got a little unbelievable.
Thanks to "It", I still have a desire to run and pee my pants.

Yep... Stephen King is a great worker, also he's a good writer and director.

Compare the first three books in the Gunslinger series to the last three. It's almost like a completely different person wrote them.

Do you get combat pay?
All you that doth my grave pass by,

No combat pay, but a kid did bring a pellet gun to school last week. In a few years, they won't be able to affort to pay insurance for teachers to anymore. Too dangerous.

It is great! 6th graders ar so funny! Esp. the SPED kids. Give me the quirky, oddballs anyday. Its the snooty, spoiled gifted kids that I couldn't work with.

I work with the kids that are just far enough behind, that they run the risk of being retained. They are usually the kids with zero home life and no goals, and get picked on. Sadly, those are also the ones who end up shooting up the place.

Its the small, but greatly funny, moments that get you through the day.
