Started Making Plans Yet?

Post by TheHallow1 » Wed Aug 11, 2010 1:58 pm

Halloween this year falls on a Sunday which kinda sucks 'cause I'll have college the next day. At this point I'm trying to figure out all the stuff I'm going to do. Anyone else started planning yet?

I've started pricing pvc, and saving water jugs to use as head underforms for masks.

Well, after engineering global financial collapse and redistributing the wealth of the top 1% to the bottom...oh wait, you meant Halloween.

I'm putting a ceramic town collection together. I'm gonna make a table top scene with lighting and scenery to boot.

Of course I will post pix as I go along.

Using water jugs is a good idea. I never thought of that. Better than paying 5 bucks for a styrofoam head at Hobby Lobby. I'll try that out.

This is the first year I've tried it; usually I use a bunch of grocery bags stuffed into the mask. But I noticed that a water jug fits perfectly over 3/4" pvc pipe, which I use to make the frames for most of my creatures, so......

I need to write down my list too. If I don't then I just end up with a pile of unrelated stuff, which isn't bad, but I really want to make the town scene this year.

My plans are pretty much going to be the same. Give out TOT candy, carve a couple of jack o'lanterns, even though there will be others already carved, watch lots of horror flicks, and go for my Midnight Halloween Motorcycle Ride.

I'm taking Monday November 1st off in honor of All Saints Day, so I don't have to worry about being at work the next day, and I plan to have lots of weekend Halloween fun that weekend. Oh, and I'm also going to have a fire in the fire place, and maybe a barbecue.

Mike
