Hey OEJ, There's one there. I had been getting bored of mine, so Mandy stoked my flame after she'd posted a new one I decided what the heck and went ahead and changed mine :D And probably will again down the road, change is good, keeps us mortals young

MichaelMeyers I felt the same way - I didn't want to change mine for fear people would get confused but then again, it's not like I change it all the time. I just wanted a fresh one for this year.

Plus its a tiny bit animated which I like!

I'd love to join this year's gift exchange, but I don't know what I could offer, living in a country where halloween isn't really celebrated.

I want in on the gift exchange this year.
Laurie stares at the station wagon as it moves past. She looks directly at The Shape inside. There is a quick glimpse of him, a strange pale face staring back.

I would be agreeable to having two partners, too, if that'll help the numbers come out even. :D

When will we get the planning for such an event started. I'd kinda like to know who I'm buying for so I can get to know their tastes, likes and dislikes as I really enjoy buying whoever I'm buying for something that I know they will cherish and love. Not just any ol thing because its an exchange, so would there be a name draw in advance?

I'm totally in this year, and I'll send gifties to anyone who wants one. Hoochy hooch, you're on my list!

I love gift exchanges!!!

Ooga Booga...I am sure you can come up with something fabulous for the exchange. We would love to have you participate!

Dutchess-to answer your question, last year we signed up around the last two weeks of Sept. (the sign-up deadline was Oct. 1st) I then assigned partners and sent everyones address, wishlist, etc that day.( Most people who participated were on the board and farily active throughout Sept and leading up to the big day, so I had a good idea who would participate.) You had until the 15th of October (at the latest) to mail your gifts. Last year was the first year we did it as I was a fairly new member to this site, so it was kind of thrown together. If there are any ways to improve it, please let me know. Im not the "official" one in charge, I just came up with the idea and coordinated each members info.

Thanks, Dutchess! I love your enthusiasm, too!

Hey, let's have a practice run now. It will be fun to see what we can come up with in May to send to a Halloween gift exchange, right? Some of us (okay, most of us) probably have unopened, unused things from clearance sales already, and you never know what you might find at the dollar stores or Michael's!
