It's the 27th at 9:20PM, 4 days away from Halloween, and nobody's online.
I thought people would flood this forum the closer it got to Halloween like I did last year, but I guess not.
Where is everyone?

I prefer it this way, it's tiring for an old fart to keep up in the fast lane.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I did think there would be more people online. I logged in a few times and tumbleweeds blowing in the wind in there. Deserted.

When my family is at home it is difficult for me to get on line. Last night was senior night at our kids' high school, and our son is a senior, so he was being recognized as a marching band member out on the football field. Then there was a big bonfire-pep rally for the game they are having tonight with their cross-town arch-rival.

We have a very busy weekend planned. My husband's birthday is tomorrow, and simultaneously our daughter is going to a big party for a close friend who is moving to Texas on Monday. I will be making last-minute Halloween preparations. And of course, my husband is Lutheran, and for them, Oct. 31 is not Halloween, but "Reformation Day" (the anniversary of the day in 1517 when Martin Luther tacked the 95 Theses to the door of Wittenberg Cathedral, which started the ball rolling on the Protestant Reformation). He and I both sing in the choir at church, and we are on duty for every service on Sunday morning because Reformation Day is such a Big Deal to them.

So, no, I probably won't be hanging out on line this weekend, but it doesn't mean I have forgotten Halloween. I am just busy.

I meant new folks. I was one of many that came and stayed up through Halloween last year, that was the busiest I've ever seen it here. We have been getting new members here and there but they don't say much.

Me too! >:O

But yes, you folks are still around and that's awesome. It just seems this year had much fewer registrations that last year.
