anyone else scrambling to get everything ready?

Do you have a special way to carve a pumpkin?

anyone else scrambling to get everything ready?

It just occurred to me that I have to buy lights for my pumpkin army. I REALLY hope that I can come across a mountain of battery operated tea lights that won't cost me a fortune! Why did I wait until the last minute?! :o

Oh, there is always a last-minute scramble about something. I am still trying to finish my acrylic pumpkin, and after that I have several real ones to carve. Also, I need to inspect and maybe clean my daughter's costume as well as my own.

I have the battery-operated candles for my two acrylic pumpkins, but I am not very satisfied with the light they give off. I'm thinking of looking for crystal Christmas lights and maybe using those instead.

We've just got the Pumpkins to carve & to buy another pack of tealight candles (I buy the ones that burn for 9 hours).

We put the cobweb on the front door earlier today & my son went to a local Halloween party earlier also where he had a blast.

We'll be relaxing for the rest of the weekend with Halloween movies & Pumpkin carving! Can't wait, LOVE this time of year!

Saturday night my brother & his partner are coming round so we're gunna watch 'Sleepy Hollow' or 'The Lost Boys' with a pizza.

Then on Sunday we've got friends coming round with their two little girls, so we're gunna have nibbles & watch 'Scared Shrekless,' 'Hocus Pocus' & 'Bewitched.'
