Daylight Savings 2011

Post by iHaunt » Sun Nov 06, 2011 12:29 am

Please don't forget to change your clock one hour back (2:00 A.M. to 1 A.M.) ;) So you all need plenty of rest for more time! :)

time travel...
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I don't know about you, but I wish they would go back to ending Daylight Savings Time at the beginning of October like they use to. Halloween night is supposed to be dark.

Yes, I much preferred it when Daylight Savings ended before Halloween. Luckily for us, we are very near the eastern edge of the Central Time Zone, so it still gets dark pretty early on Halloween for us.

Well, once again, in the name of "safety," the government decided to water down our Halloween fun. That's why they decided to extend Daylight Savings Time. They don't only end it late, but they start it much earlier in the year as well. IT begins early March, and doesn't end until early November. It's nice at the begining of the year, but I hate it in October. Every morning I drive to work in total darkness, and then drive home from work with the sun glaring in my eyes. During Stardard Central time, I usualy can avoid having the morning sun in my eyes, and when I leave for the night, the sun is almost down.

It never sun in Minnesota from October to May. Only real cold and dark.
