Halloween Haunt Promised Pics

Post by deadbride » Fri Jun 01, 2007 11:38 am

http://s64.photobucket.com/albums/h165/ ... halloween/

Ok here are the pics I promised. Some are from 3 years ago. Some are from last year. And a couple of the cats. And 1 of the new head I got. The white cat is Cookie Monster Demon. The black cat is Chyna. The cat in the flower pot is Grace, he is sweet. The one in the sink is T.T., short for Two Tone. She has two different color eyes.

There are pics of the pirate theme. The bike accident leading into the autopsy, leading into the funeral home, that leads to the gravesite, that's all another theme. Then the creepy restaurant from last year. You'll get the picture on that one. Dracula is the dishwasher.

Hope you like the pics.

 :)

I forgot the newspaper is the article that I was in about Halloween. I think you can enlarge it enough to read it.

Hey deadbride, Awesome pictures! I just love that gargoyle water fountain on the table with the blood fluid in it :D And that Dracula in the Coffin, very cool  You have some really large prop figures, holy, do you make those or buy them, here to buy life size props are sooooooo expensive! you put a lot of work into your haunt, can't wait to see the pictures from this coming up Halloween :D

I haven't even managed to get the pictures scanned from the past few years either. I've been busy as always. Most of the larger props can be broken down to smaller. So its not quite so bad. My mannequin stands in the laundry room full time. I use her all the time for my wedding gowns. All the half zombies are animatronics. Each one moves. One crawls across the floor, one lifts its head, one rips its chest open. Then there are all the fountains. The bat fountain, the skull/bone pile fountain, the vampire fountain with the rolling eye. I have 3 or 4 fog machines, 2 strobe lights. I just got a party light. The one with the different colored discs that rotates. Plus I have a disco type ball too. Plus I have all the black lights. The big bat that hangs upside down is a Mario Chiodi creation which is a great piece. It's eyes blink. The wingspan is 7 feet. If I could get away with having some of this stuff in the house year round, he would be the first piece up. LOL I'll tell you whatever you want to know about my haunt stuff, just ask.

Well I don't want to, but I have to put it all away. But I do manage to sneak a few pieces around the house. We live in a mobile home. Not as bad as it sounds. It is a nice one. The management here in the park makes me use the clubhouse for the haunt every year. As for storage, I have a 10 by 20 storage unit close by that I rent cheap, plus a 10 by 10 shed in the backyard. And the entire underneath of the house can be used for storage. I'll throw the kids out of their rooms if I have to!

LOL, OEJ!!

And deadbride, you rock. I have an attic, a basement storage area and a shed in the backyard, and I'm busting at the seams. I'm still trying to talk the husband into a second shed. Oh well, that's why we play the lottery periodically
