Online security

Since we've had a few discussions about protecting ourselves online I thought I'd start this thread. Y'all know how paranoid I am. Having had a problem where someone tracked me down right to my front doorstep I now hide behind numerous pseudonyms online. I try very hard to keep them separate but I do slip from time to time. This obviously only works against casual stalkers and script-kiddies. True hackers can get your info no matter what you do. Just have to hope you're not important enough for them to pay attention to you.

That said, one of Gizmodo's former bloggers has just uncovered a chilling security flaw having to do with Apple. Hopefully they fix this situation before all the script-kiddies latch on.

Apparently Amazon has plugged the hole but Apple still doesn't know what to do.
