Grim Reaper exchange

Post by ScarecrowJack » Thu Sep 12, 2013 5:11 pm

Are we having one this year? Also, has anybody seen Witchy recently. I haven't seen her on any of the posts.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

I'm concerned about Witchy, because the last time she posted she said she was worried about her husband's health (in the thread, "What Made You Sad Today"). I have not seen her on line since that post.

That does not sound good. :( I don't always hit that thread, so I missed it. I hope everything is all right.

Remember, Witchy also said she just got a job. At Spirit Halloween, I think.

Whew! I forgot about that.

I'm sure that's it.

See Witchy? At least one of us pays attention. And you and your husband are in my thoughts, I wish you both well.

You and your husband are in my prayers as well.

I am interested in the Grim Reaper exchange can someone please explain it to me?

I just can't wait until next Halloween,
'Cause I've got some new ideas
that will really make them scream!
And, by God, I'm really gonna give it all my might!

I'm praying for your husband, too, Witchy. Cancer is terrifying, but there are many survivors, so keep positive.

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to stay busy and not over think this, and stay as positive as I can.

It's kinda like a Secret Santa Exchange, someone will get a list of people's name & address's, then they will draw names so everyone gets a victim, then we usually make it 10.00 to 15.00 dollar limit and suprise our victims with really cool Halloween stuff. Oh and this year I am going to stalk my victim, SpookBlackKat did it to me and I loved it!!

Withcy, I'm glad you're back. I was getting worried. I'm sorry to hear about your husband. You are both in my prayers. I'm interested in the Grim Reaper exchange and will PM you my info. Try to keep your spirits up. I know it's hard and if you need anything, or just a sympathetic ear, feel free to PM me. I'm not always around, but I'll do what I can.

And I do pay attention, Boogey. It's just that scarecrow head stuffed with straw thing that gets in the way sometime. Ain't ya never seen the Wizard of Oz? ;)
