Two books give some good suggestions on what to eat for meals when you have no power and limited suggestions.
Daphne Nikolopoulos has a recipe book -"The Storm Gourmet: A Guide to Creating Extraordinary Meals Without Electricity" (Pineapple Press, 2005, $9.95 paperback).
Another book, "Apocalypse Chow: How to Eat Well When the Power Goes Out" (Robertson, 2005, $12.95 paperback) by Jon Robertson, with Robin Robertson, is geared to ANY disaster - blackouts, tornadoes, hurricanes and more.
Have you been through a storm? What kind of tips, advice, and tricks can you share to help people prepare for a hurricane?
