OEJ, you got a good point about starting my own artwork thread. Why should I?

HM - why don't you start your own thread about the art work you find.[/quote]

Just a thought.... Spooky started this thread, naming it "MY" Halloween paintings. The operative word there is "MY". The artwork you're posting is very cool, indeed but is neither hers OR yours and should have its own thread. Again, just a thought.

OEJ, just a thought? I do understand that the way to prevent from others getting confused about the artwork which was posted by either me or Spooky... Next time, if I get an idea, I would post my own thread. Thank you for letting me know.

The Halloween paintings really are great...they have that hard-to-capture old-fashioned feeling and atmosphere to them. The mood is really spot on there.

I can't take the credit for the idea of them...I was looking at vintage Halloween postcards for ideas for them. That's the kind of stuff I love, and you can't buy that in the store...so I wanted to paint things that people would never see anywhere else.
