foam latex mask

Post by Truancy89 » Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:46 pm

I just got this awesome Foam latex appliance and it says I need to use rubber mask grease paint as it's completely uncolored (aside from the beige color of the latex itself) however all I have available is water based makeup. Does anyone know if it's ok to use the water based without damaging the prosthetic?

My shop does a lot of work with foam-based products. Generally we always use water-based products with foam... standard paint will melt the foam, but water-based paints are fine.
