What is the outlook for the 2006 Hurricane Season?
So far there is not a lot of information nor many predictionss on what to expect for the 2006 hurricane season, however, if we are in the middle of a long-term upswing in activity, expect another busy year.
All the experts who have weighed in so far seem to think we will have another busy year. All the predictions are higher than corresponding predictions from 2005, it is worthwhile noting, but no one is predicting a season as busy as 2005.
It is worth noting that in 2005 at this time the experts were predicting a quieter season than 2004. What is important to remember is that hurricane forecasting for an entire season is still a very inexact science and it is important to prepare now.
