I love it when all the stuff I remember starts coming out.

Ohh, these are my grandpa's favorite candies! But not for me! Yuck!

I love skull lollipops! I'm not into chocolate things, you know? Even, some candies with creme inside! I only like a very few chocolate candies such as Reese's and M&M's peanuts!

HauntMaster, I have to confess that it's not the taste itself that I love so much...it's the way it brings back such wonderful memories. I think if I had eaten Mellowcremes for the first time as an adult, I'd've gagged. But oh how they remind me of the first budding days of fall, the sun that was misleadingly bright and the promise behind it of yellows, oranges and reds; of smoking chimneys and apple crisp...Okay, don't throw up now from my oversweetness.

I am not going to throw up!! So, well, I do miss Brach's Cool Mint, you know, round-shaped blue candy? I LOVE IT!!! I'm not so sure if the company stopped making it anymore at all, or what? Well, I am still using Brach's Cinnamon Star brites, not sure if I spelled the right letter?

Oh, HM, how funny, I remember those blue candies!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also loved Rootbeer Barrels...but I don't know whether those were Brach's or Russel Stover's.

In the meantime...it seems I have found someone in the household to share my hidden Mellowcremes obsession! (Rubbing hands together and cackling maniacally):

I went to Longs Drug Store last night and they've started to put out a bunch of Halloween candy, but I didn't see these guys =( I'll try Walgreens.

Like around Easter; Brach's makes an 'egg' that is just whipped sugar covered in pastel colored hard shell candy. some years they're every were, some years not one bag!!!

It's a conspiracy I tell ya!

LOL...pretty much! I was ready to knock them out with laughing gas just to get them to bed. They finally collapsed around 10-ish. (And so did I.)
