Biggest Halloween Scare

Post by Pumpkin_Man » Mon Jul 06, 2009 2:52 pm

Hi Folks:

We all hove Halloween, and Halloween is about beig scard, so I thought I would start off by telling you about the time I got the beejeebers scared out of me when I was at home on Halloween. It was about 7 or 8 at night. ToT was over for that particular halloween. I customarily leave my front and back doors opened to air out the hours on ocassion, and Halloween was one of those ocassions.

Anyway, the house was dark except for my jack o'lanterns, and the tv, and as that particular year I hardly had any ToTers, I fell asleep on the couch. One of my neighbors who was worried that I had been broken in on, called the police. When I opened my eyes, I spotted my neighbor and two cops in full uniform, one of them holding a flash light, and I just about jumped out of my skin. I never came awake so fast in my life.

What were some of your Halloween scares.

Mike

You know I think that is the best story - thank you so much for sharing it - definitely got a good laugh out of that.... I wish I had a good Halloween scare experience - but I have nothing... Maybe this year...... :)

I remember, one year, I was decked out in my wizard costume, and there was this one house where this skeletal face was pressed right up against the open window in a front door, looking out at you (I don't recall ever seeing many front doors with opening windows in them, but oh well). Anyway, I was a big tough kid and I knew what was up, and I wasn't gonna let this skeleton get me, so I ran right up, and stabbed him up the nostril with my wand. I don't recall doing much afterwards except running as fast as I could. Didn't scare me, but I don't think that fella was ready for a stick of wood up his nose, so I suppose it goes...
And this one time, I was walking up a driveway, and I noticed a conspicuous little car sitting outside to my left. For one thing, it was drenched in fog, lit by a mysterious purple light, and filled with corpses. Well, again, I went right up, and pressed my face to the window, and was subsequently attacked by the most life-like zombie I've ever seen. It was the first time I cried on Halloween, and hopefully the last.
I wish I could go back to that house with the car full of zombies--they had some of the most elaborate Halloween decorations I've ever seen.

That's a great story. The kids like my headless horseman on the motorcycle that I do ever year, but it's nothing close to being as scary as a zomby in a car.

My sister had a good Halloween scare once. She told me about this about a couple of days ago. She had to work late one Halloween. Here daughter who was in hs at the time was away at a friends Halloween party. She walked into the hosue around 10 or so, but the power was out. As she felt her away around, one of her cats got startled, screamed and leapt right at her. It was just like you see on one of those horror movies. I would have paid to see it.
