I don't think my neighnors hate halloween, seeing as they happily celebrated with us and organised trick-or-treating until everyone else grew out of it, but some people say they wish it would dissappear from Australia altogether, which really hurts.
Oh, and about the crazy old lady; there are some christian extremists who call Buddhism and Wicca dangerous, nevermind halloween

I can understand some people not enjoying the pranks and vandalism that unfortunately accompanies Halloween in some areas BUT the people who hate Halloween because it's evil and satanic really get on my nerves. I haven't encountered any personal attacks over my decorations - quite the opposite. But, I'll be ready for them if they do!

Thats funny!!! If some Crazy Christian says that about my Halloween music I will do that exact thing!!
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Well...I have a couple of overly religious grandparents who either won't say anything or will make a comment about something being "demonic," they aren't crazy about Halloween either...but they don't do it in the "OMGZ ITZ EBIL" sorta of way...more like the guilt trip sorta way and the "hint hint it's evil I disapprove" kind of way...
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...
