I feel bad. I wish I could have sent some of my trick-or-treaters to y'alls houses.

I wanted more leftovers...

I got to say I'm pretty darn depressed that Halloween is over. I usually get depressed for a week until Thanksgiving and Christmas begin to loom on the horizon, and that brightens my mood.

Me too. That's why I put away 99% of my Halloween this morning and brought out some Thanksgiving stuff.

I may even watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving tonight, except that I'm grilling burgers and not roasting turkey for dinner :-)

I never get TOTers as I live in a creepy remote valley and it's a 10 minute walk to the front door, if you can make it through the dark and around the inky black pond.

The ironic part being it's a perfect spot for a spooky Halloween.
Andy you diggs look spooker from the air!!! Witchy

We had around thirty trick or treaters.
Our party was pretty good, too.
A few guys had too much to drink and got a little out of line, but it was no big deal.
I'm feeling the melancholy, though.
I cannot believe the season is over.

We had the lowest number of ToTers in the 23 years since I started decorating for Halloween. There have been other Saturday Halloweens where the weather was also perfect like this year and the ToT total was much higher. I've lived in the same house all 23 years. I'm thinking it's the swine flu issue. Recently, schools in nearby areas have been closed for a few days because so many students were absent that classes were almost empty.

It is kind of sad that it's over already.
And I think this year I'm going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the holidays. I'm not feelin' it yet.

I think this season has been disappointing because it didn't seem as if a lot of people were celebrating Halloween, at least not as much as last year.

And "Bah Humbug" is now public domain, so it's okay to use it. The nice thing about the story it's from is that it has ghosts.

That is what bugs me most...the over-hype.
Other than that I love it.
