Have a great Autumn season!

Post by Haunt Master » Tue Sep 16, 2008 3:18 pm

I know Autumn begins on Monday, September 22nd.

The owner, staffs, and I of Halloween.com Forums would like to wish all our fellow haunters a safe, scary and successful haunting season.
We are geared up, and ready to have a great time this year! The haunt turned out scarier than ever planned! Our cast is very excited and ready to get going. I really feel a great year coming up.

Good Luck to you all,

Chris aka Haunt Master

I thought it was the 21.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

In this neck of the woods we haven't had much of a summer (those of you who follow my posts are well aware), so it's felt like fall for a long, long time.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Well, right here where I live near the beach, it's still like summer to me.... But I can smell the leaf scent outside, but no leaves have been fallen yet. :?

Don't get me wrong. I love Summer time. I like to ride my motorcycle, swim, and the 4th of July as well as my birthday which is in July, but I don't handle heat very well any more. So Fall is pretty much my favorite time of the year, with Halloween being my favorite holiday of the Fall.

I took my class on a field trip to a local corn maze and pumpkin patch today!!!
It was great! Yesterday and today the temp. was only in the mid 70's and today it was slightly overcast with a cool breeze.
I live in East Tennessee, in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. The leaves are not changing yet, but they should start in the next week or two.
I am the shadow on the moon at night
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright,

Some leaves are falling here! And some trees have changed already.

Trees here are certainly showing color now as well.

We had heavy fog all the way down to the bottom of Silicon Valley for most of the morning, but my heart broke when the sun came out. :(

There's a chance of rain Friday afternoon so keep your fingers crossed for me!

We don't get much change of seasons here in so. cal., but you can smell fall when it arrives. Hard to describe. Haven't smelled that smell yet but love to watch the sun change positions as it's been doing rapidly lately.
Be afraid....be very afraid!
