Hi Folks:

Some times the dreams we have at night can make for a great Halloween story, and I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of scary or wierd dreams you have had in the past.

I thought I would start out with a wiere dream that I had when I was a kid in 5th grade. This dream was brought about two situations that were going on in my life at the time. First of all, I had discovered the tv show "Creature Features," and I saw the Bela Lugosi classic "Dracula" for the first time. Secondly, I was learning how to play the trombone in the school band, which I played all through high school, but this was the very first year I picked up the instrument. I was having a very hard time learning the song "Got An Old Mule," and was so exasperated about it that I just couldn't stand it. The band master was really irked at me as well.

Anyway, it was Saturday night, and "Creature Features" had a double feature. "Dracula" starring Bela Lugosi and "Son od Dracula." Anyway after the movies were over, I went to bed, and I had this dream.

I dreampt I was with my family in the living room just watching tv and general socilizing when the door bell rang. My dad got up and answered the door. It was Count Dracula (the Bela Lugosi version) asking if he could use our telephone because his car broke down. My dad being the gentleman ushered the man into the house, and into the diningroom where the phone was located. I was the only one who knew he was Count Dracula. Nobody else had a clue. I was fascinated, so I hung out at the diningroom table until Drac finished his phone call. After he finished, my mom offered him a cup of cofee while he watied for some one to pick him up. Drac and I got to talking about a lot of things. Niether one of us mentioned the vampire thing, but I knew his secret and he knew that I knew. Anyway we talked about "Dark Shadows," and the weather, and finaly I mentioned that I was having an impossible time with the song "Got an Old Mule." Dracula asked me if I was in the school choir, and I explaind that I was actualy in the band, and I played the trombone. I said "I don't suppose you know anything about trombone playing" to the Cound, and he answered in his thick Romanian accent "But of course. I played the instrument." With that we both went down the basement where all music practicing was done, so not to disturb anyone. Dracula warmed up with the "Swan Lake" theme. (Swan Lake was also used as the opening for the movie "Dracula") then he asked me to show him the piece of music that I was having trouble with. I pulled it out, placed it on the music stand, and Count Dracula played it for me. Lectured me a little on the time signature and the key signature just like my music teacher. Then I asked him to play "Swan Lake" again, but I woke up before he had a chance to. Incidenttly, he was a SUPERB trombonist in my dream.

When I woke up, it was about 9 am. I had a strange but good feeling, so I got my trombone out, and played "Got an Old Mule" flawlessly, just like Count Dracula played it in my dream.

The following wednesday, I played it for the band master, and he said it was the best I have ever performed that entire school year.

Too much nightmares for me!! I prefer not to give out the details because they're too graphic! Blood, gore, guts and s**t like that!!

All I think of telling you that I had the worst nightmares in the past and the present time. Mostly werewolves, zombies, vampires, etc. Some strange kinds of monsters and creatures that I really can't name them... of course, I've dreamt about witches and ghosts, just briefly - not bad!
