Catch the bat. You release a live Vampire bat in your house and watch the chaos unfold as your guests panic and attempt to catch it.

Get a group of people. Each person has a knife. On the count of three, everyone stabs themselves in the heart. The person who survives the lonest before dying wins!

My idea would just be fun, not painful. Fun to watch and not painful if you don't participate that is.
