Unfortunately these things happen
Even more reason to be as safe as possible during Halloween.

Re: Horrible Halloween News
Both of these stories bumed me out, because I have grand nieces who are of the age of the little girl killed on the hay ride, and I have nieces who are close to the age of the young woman who was attacked. I would hate it if anything happened to them at any time, bue especialy while celebrating a holiday.
I use to be a volunteer fire fighter years ago. It was Christmas Eve when my pager went off and I responded to a fire call. It was a house fire, and it was determined to be caused by a defective Christmas tree light setting tree on fire. Nobody was hurt, but a man, his wife and three little children were homeless as their house was totaly gutted by the fire. All their presents were burned, so the little ones didn't get anything for Christmas that year. That was also one of the worst Christmasses of my life, too.
