well this is neat :)
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I want to do the best I can to help this site out too. I'm not a member of the staff but I am a member of this forum. Also if anyone needs anyone to talk to, feel free to pm me or send an e-mail. I'm busy a lot of times, but don't be afraid to talk to me! My e-mail is mauevigtheeternalcat@hotmail.com and usually check it at least once a day.
I treat everyone on the same level of respect, and I like to think of our community as a community of friends.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,

Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Please don't jinx it. ;-)

I can tell you that spam is the biggest hassle. Usually it is handled pretty well by the phpbb defenses, but when it is, as you know it gets really bad. And it seems always at a bad time too - like when one is trying to get kids ready for school or make dinner. Lol. :-)

Spammer or not???

When I first logged in this evening on the other forum that guy was a spammer. It's just the way the display name (dmihatmttl) looks that's indicative of a spammer/googlebot spammer etc. You know?

So when I got his reply back which made me laughing so hard....

DMIHATMTTL stands for: Dip Me In Honey And Throw Me To The Lesbians!

That's funny name! Well, that's cool! :)

That's...something I really didn't want to know.

In any case, I know Moderators can't swing the ban hammer. Only an administrator can, and our administrator is none other than HalloweenCom. Let's give him a big round of applause for making such a great community!
Mods can modify, move and delete topics, but admins are the ones that create the forum lay outs, have the power to ban and give people custom names. Banning is usually reserved only for things that are trully offensive and most admins of forums I know of only use it as a last resort.
I've had a few message boards of my own in the past, but they tend to die out.

Anyway I just thought I'd give this little information out so people know what a mod and admin really is. They help maintain the board and keep things neat and organized around here, and maintain a fun, safe community for all. It's quite a job. X3
