Well... first I went down to the graveyard and dug up some corpses. Then I arranged them in
the shape of a pentagram. Next I lit the black flame candle, but that didn't work because I'm
not a virgin... and Belladonna and Witchy weren't available. So next I broke out my copy of
the Necronomicon and chanted the spell of raising the dead. That didn't work either. Finally, I
went home and googled it and came up with this website...

http://www.mahalo.com/how-to-raise-the-dead.

That's as far as I've gotten so far. If you don't hear from me again, then you know I succeeded.

Oh yeah. I forgot you were a naughty little girl. That didn't happen to be a graveyard
where you broke your ankle?

Haha Sounds like you had a fun time, witchy! But you said on your groom...not your broom! ;) hahaha just kidding! lol

I tried to send ya a psychic message when I tripped over that piece of foundation, and you were out of earshot.

Moi? I'm not naughty!

No, it wasn't a graveyard it was a supposed haunted place out in the country.
Nothing left there now but ruins, mostly.

Halloween day was a little bit of a letdown as compared to last Halloween. I had my party the Saturday before Halloween, as I always do, and for some reason that feels like Halloween itself to me. But then I have to remember to keep in mind that there's still the actual holdiay itself, so it's not over. Anyway, last year was especially great because everything about Halloween itself was perfect and it was a Friday night. Besides the great weather, all the neighbors were sitting outside -- I live on a cul-de-sac. The activity level of trick-or-treaters on my street was crazy -- a good kind of awesome crazy. I even saw my daughter and her friend, who were 13 then, parading up the street with two teenage boys dressed in drag! It felt so festive, like it was another party. This year, I thought it would be the same way, especially with the absolutely perfect fall weather we had. I asked one of my neighbors if anyone would be sitting outside again this year and she said they would because they had no plans. I kind of assumed everyone else would. But it turned out that one of the other neighbors down the street were throwing a party, which I knew nothing about and was not invited to. My feelings weren't hurt, since I'm not particularly friendly with these people and I didn't invite them to my party. And the trick-or-treat activity didn't seem as great as it was last year -- very quiet. By 8:30 I was ready to close up shop -- I still had quite a bit of candy left, as opposed to other years where my candy supply is gone by 8:30 or nine. If I knew it was going to be that boring, I'd have gone to this party that my daughter went to, which I could've if I wanted to. But I thought my block would've been really fun and I didn't want to miss out on anything. For me, the weekend before Halloween this year was way better than Halloween itself was.

It seemed that last year everybody was out. People even sat out on their porches. This year was extremely quiet.

It was pretty good I liked it being on a Saturday loved GA live on the 30th little disappointing that GH didn't do a true live but they wanted a year off with their kids and I understand that. But it was pretty good my display was freakin good this year plus I had a new interview for a local job today and got it so I'm feeling pretty good. Decoration is down because I had to but next year will be really good.

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
