Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Just wanted to share the wonderful news with all my Halloween family--the hubby and I are expecting our first child due on October 28! We could not be more excited and as much as he thinks I planned this to fall on my favorite holiday, I promise I didn't! My birthday is a week after Halloween and I love having a fall birthday. Now we will have a son just in time for the funnest part of the year! Obviously this may put a slow down on decorations and costumes this year but I'm totally looking forward to it!

How exciting!...Think of the years to come, with birthday and Halloween al in the same week! And maybe the little one will be a few days late? lol
My daughters is three days before Christmas. We always made her birthday special and unrelated to the holidays. Once, we had a luau for her birthday...every room in the house was decorated for Christmas, except for the family room. Parrots and palm trees there!! lol

Johnsoneliza, it sounds as if your daughter & I have the same birthday. Dec. 22, right? I have always loved my Christmas birthday, honestly. The close association has never bothered me a bit.

I actually like the name Damian! I've never made the association but everyone else says the name screams evil. Hubby doesn't care for it so it's off the list.

I agree. November 15 here. A day many consider an important holiday.

No, never seen The Omen. Apparently I'm the only person I know who doesn't see Damian as an evil name. But what can you do?
