A really scary dream 8-0

Post by Rising Dead Man » Mon Aug 11, 2008 6:30 pm

This scary dream I had last night convinces me I have spent WAY too much thinking about zombies.

I was at someones house watching TV. There was a news report showing a gruesome video someone filmed. A voice said "Try to pretend this isn't real.". I guess they meant if you pretend it is fake like part of a movie you will not be as freaked out. It showed a couple of rotting corpses with flies all over them. Me and someone else who was watching TV with me (I have no idea who she was.) were disgusted. The corpses were revolting. Next the video showed a couple of zombies eating the intestines of a fresh corpse. There were flies on the intestines. It was disgusting. Even though the zombies were fake looking (One of them looked like a zombie from the original Dawn Of The Dead. And one looked just like this guy: http://www.thehorrordome.com/HDSHOPPING ... rLARGE.htm ) I was scared. Everyone else in the house who saw the video thought it was fake. But I was sure it was real. Why would it be on the news and say pretend it is not real if it were fake? I was sure a zombie outbreak was starting. And I was terrified.

Then I woke up. I turned on the light. I was relieved it was just a dream. But I was still scared. It took a few minutes but I got the courage to open my bedroom door and make sure there were no zombies outside my room. I know this seems really silly. But we are all silly like this after a nightmare. I think I will use this if I ever make zombie movies! :D

And, you thought you were in "real life" when it was in your own dream? Hee hee... It happened to me before, and it will always happen anytime to everybody! :D

I remember you had a nightmare about a graveyard with werewolves and a cabin full of vampires or witches or something like that. My dream is more realistic than that. Another scary dream I had the other day was a school shooting. There was an angry student who was shooting madly at a bunch of people and I was running away terrified I might get shot. Then I woke up. I have not had a nightmare in years! And now I have two recent ones! And the shooting one is more realistic than both of ours combined because it really happens.

I tend to have no vivid nightmares for months, and then I'll go through a spurt where I'll have numerous ones. It's weird how that happens. Sounds like you might be the same way.

My occasional zombie dream happens on a very bright sunny day on a very wide, deserted dirt road.

I'm walking down the road and can sense them following me & somehow my brain knows that if I turn around and look at them, or start to run, that they will all start running after me.

And they are fast, like the ones in 28 days or the Dawn of the Dead remake; or they would be if I would juuuuust turn around.

Dreaming is THE best form of virtual reality!!!!!

I love nightmares all the time!!!

I wish I would have scary dreams every night, but it won't work because I've only had few nightmares in the last few days ago... Maybe I will get another nightmare this week! Hee hee...

I do not like nightmares. They seem too real. And they are terrifying!! :o

I just remembered another zombie dream I had recently. But I am sure it was not a nightmare. I do not want to do a lot of typing right now but I will tell you it later.

Guess what, RDM??? Thanks a lot for posting this thread and it caused me having a bad nightmare late in this morning!!

This morning's Haunted Cemetery" nightmare. A real nothing, waste of time! I will NEVER get those 2 and 1/2 minutes of my life back! Hee hee...

When my girlfriend and I walked into the graveyard, our foots got stuck around the grass filled with mud. Hardly to move our legs off the grass, and when there are a few zombies rising up, we tried our best to run away - but we can't! I held my girlfriend's hand to try getting out of there! Well, too late... all zombies ganged up on us, then I woke up from dreaming! One of the zombies pulled my girl's leg off and ate it!!! Jeez! The worst nightmare I've ever had this morning!!!
