Paramount working on newer Friday the 13th Box Set

Personally I thought that putting 2 movies on one disc in the first F13 box set attempt was cheap. But now Paramount is creating an all new F13 box set. But...according to horror news sources they are only releasing parts 1 thru 3 to go hand in hand with the new film coming in February.

What the heck? Only parts 1 thru 3?

That's kind of odd. Do you know how these versions are going to be different? Or even if they will be? Special features or anything?

I agree with you about the 2 movies on one disc thing. It'd be nice to get a really good quaility box set of the ENTIRE series.

I really don't think it will be too different. I already own the huge F13th box set, and that's jam packed with special features. What more do we need to know? I think they are just trying to nickel and dime everyone...expecially the dumb people who think the new movie is the begining of the franchise...and then they see the 3 part box set. I really don't have too high of hopes for the new movie anyway...I think it will be more geared to a teenage audience, not the real fans that matter. Kane Hodder is still the only Jason I accept.

That's so stupid that they would only put 1-3 in the set. The ENTIRE series is great and i don't understand why they wouldn't make a box set with all the films. That's very disappointing...
