MUSIC (horror, self composed, anything really)

Post by adrian » Tue Aug 18, 2009 1:41 pm

I've been searching for a thread that's music based but haven't found one so i decied to create this one :) Here we can discuss anything from our favorite music and artists, share links to songs we've composed/recorded, give our opinions (everyone is entitled to one so PLEASE be nice and respectful of others)

List your favorite artist..
Tell me why you like them...
Tell us some of your favorite lyrics or simply post some of your own :)
If you have a music back ground i'd like to hear about it

Have fun!!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

I noticed at least two threads that were about Halloween Music, but if you want to talk abut music in general, you might want to try the "Off Topic" forum. I thought I saw a thread about music in there some place, but you might have to go digging for it.

I'm probably the farthest thing from a musician, every instrument I have tried to learn in the past has been a failure and I can't sing a lick. I guess music isn't my thing, but I certainly do enjoy listening to it!

i would say that to some extent.. i'm classically trained on the piano (Lagrange College) and have been performing classic rock and post <deleted> music for the past six years (singing and i also have a heck of a screaming range if you're into that)

in my spare time i do sit at home recording scary music themes (could be used in movies) for giggles.. i also like to compose my own fright music for halloween (kinda like the sounds of halloween c.d.s you see)

You know what, I might fart around with a MIDI program here soon. If I make anything that seems remotely cool, I'll post it.

Well Adrian by all means you should try and post some of your music on the forum so we can hear it. I cant think of any other place better to show off your talent than right here on the board with your Halloween brethren.

Since Flash player embedding is disabled, you'll have to link it.
