drink names....at our bar in the basement we have one of those light up special signs and i want to write creepy names of drinks on it. the only one i can come up with is bloody mary...or another cool idea to write on it. bring on the ideas!

My friend, who is a bartender, happens to be sitting right here. She says some drinks she's made recently that may fit the profile are 'Zombie', 'Snake Bite' and 'Flaming Dr Pepper'. Others she knows off hand are 'Banshee', 'Silver Bullet', 'Satan's Whiskers'. There are more but she'd have to go through her rolodex to remember em. I suggest going to Google and doing a search for 'drink recipes'. That should give you lots of ideas.

I was a bartender for a couple of years. Some names I used were "Witches Brew" "Jack o-tini" or "Vampire's kiss" "Spider Cider", "Trick-or-tini","Sleepy Hollow Fizz", "Devil's Poison", "The Black Cat".

those are perfect! thanks so much! i like zombie and spider cider...i suppose it would be a good idea to have the stuff to ACTUALLY make those drinks too huh? lol
i'll have to look up recipes for that and find some that have common ingredients. we usually start with 5 types of liquor for the party and one or two people usually bring a bottle too. i'm gonna do that right now! thanks for the great ideas! but hey..keep em coming!

You have to do jello shooters! We do them every year. There's just something about hearing people slurping their shooters that seems very 'Haloweenie'. I got some skull shaped ice cube molds at Party City last year and we made about 50 of the jello shooters in them. Those lasted about 15 minutes.

jello shooters are a blast, last year i made them to look like eyeballs, they were a big hit! but a pain in the <deleted> to do. i like the idea of the skull mold..im gonna look for that. for the eyeballs, i used this carton that was supposed to be used for carting eggs on a camping trip, it worked but the problem with that was i couldnt find a liquor that was milky looking for the whites of the eyes. i used a lemon jello and they were kinda yellow. and yea, they only lasted about 5 minutes. people LOVED them..that skull mold would make perfect ice cubes for the punch...i am SO gonna go look for one..

yea i made jello shooters once and they are a pain but always a huge hit at a party just be sure to use GOOD vodka. no boston, aristocrat, yada yada. no jello flavor can hide a bad taste like that lol
