i'm going to assume that guy has money
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

She isn't marrying him for his looks...
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

...or maybe it's true love. Shouldn't count that out I suppose.

Strangely, I have heard of people getting married in cemeteries before.

One thing about that story aroused my curiosity. They said the marriage wouldn't be legal unless performed in a registry office? Is that the way they do it in England? I have heard of something like that in other European countries. In the U.S., I was married in a church. We had to sign something right after the ceremony that made it legal. But there was none of this "do it twice" nonsense.

Considering the way half of all marriages end, I think a cemetery is a fitting place for a wedding.

Marriage licenses ought to be handed out with divorce decrees printed on the back of them. Think of the reams of paper we'd save.

Same with birth and death certificates.

Hahahaha! I have been an REM fan for a good long time. But I think their best work was Green.

Green through Monster was the best of their work, with a good smattering of brilliant songs before and after. Out of Time is my all around favorite. The departure of Bill Berry resulted in a period of very weak albums, but I think their newest, Accelerate, was at least as good as Automatic For The People.

Sorry. Sorry. WAY off topic. It's just that REM is my all time favorite band....who...um...probably have visited a cemetery....and may have been to a wedding..... :|
