Orange Sweatshirt

Yesterday I bought an orange hooded sweatshirt from Kohls. It was on sale for ten bucks, plus I had a 30% off coupon. I didn't need another hooded sweatshirt; I have tons of them. Yes, this one was especially soft, and the price was so low it was almost like I was losing money if I didn't buy it. But I didn't need it.

Except I did. Because it was orange. No, I don't go hunting. Nope; I never work as a crossing guard. Huh uh. I'm not in prison, either.

Right now, I'm surrounded by white. Everything is white, or gray, or shades of gray. That's what winter is; that's how it works. In a few months, everything will be green, dotted with splashes of red, and yellow, and pink. But right now, nothing is orange. And orange is what I miss. Orange is what I need. Understand?

I didn't need it, but I did. I shouldn't have bought it, but I had too. Because it is orange. Do you see?

Orange is one of my favorite colors, too. My first kitchen after I was married had lots of orange in it.

Of course, around here, everyone would think you are a Univ of Tenn fan! (Oddly, out in Texas, their colors are orange and white, too. So UT = Big Orange wherever you go.)

I live in Tennessee Vol country. Go Big Orange. The school I teach at's school colors are blue and orange. Orange is good. I am feeling the sunshing/spring vibe.

The Cleveland Browns would be the "usual" reason you'd see anything orange in my neck of the woods!

Hey, you know what? I just realized something. Due to my weight loss, I can now walk into just about any store that carries clothing and find something in my size. I am definately going to be looking for some Halloween themed threads to wear in October.

It only makes sense. Kenny is the outcast of the group and is continually getting killed and inexplicably shows up in the new episodes.

I think KENNY should be the official mascot of Halloween...
