hippieluvn, excellent mention on Trick R Treat. Instant classic for Halloween night television.
The dark night beckons. Bear us your soul, it whispers. Expose your wicked delights. Join the rest of us on the wind. The dark night beckons and we answer. Sailing into the shadows.

With Vincent Price? I liked it, but my favorite version of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend (other than the story itself) will always be The Omega Man with Charlton Heston. Even though it's such a deviation from the original writing, the Family always scared the cr@p out of me, especially Brother Zachery.

The Will smith version was terrible.

That's a good list. By the way, I screen "The Blair Witch Project" in October when I'm alone in the house. I have a creep 100 year old house that makes all kinds of wierd noises. I usualy watch that movie before I go to bed, so after it's over, I hear all those noises and it's a real thrill ride.

Here's a hint as to it's breathtaking horrible-ness: it has a happy ending.

Mac, if you're talking about "The Blair Witch Project," it did NOT have a happy ending. It ended with the camera shutting down, like the person operating the camera was suddenly killed off.

We were talking about the Will Smith version of I Am Legend, Mike. I don't know if it has a happy ending or not, because it was so bad I didn't make it to the ending, and I don't know whether or not I can trust Andy...

And by the way, I thought Blair Witch had a very happy ending, because the witch killed all of those annoying kids!!!

Around Halloween I usually just watch The Halloween Tree with my younger brother, I'll probably end up watching Night of the Living Dead as well, however. :D
